Marlton Real Estate & Homes for Sale in New Jersey

Marlton is a cozy pocket community of Burlington County, NJ in the Philadelphia Metropolitan region. The town is also known locally as Evesham, which was its name until the early 19th century when it was officially changed to Marlton, a nod to its economical roots in the mining of a natural fertilizer called Marl. At one time the area was a popular weekend getaway for those living and working in New York City, which is just a little over two hours to the north. While Marlton today does offer a variety of ecotourism, it has become a residential community that its residents are proud to call home.

At first impression you will see a homogonous looking collection of shopping centers and town services, but once you delve further into the town, you will find a serene tree-lined family-centric community. People move to Marlton for its reasonable real estate, quality schools and low crime rate. While it appears to be a sleepy village by comparison to its urban neighbors, there is no shortage of fun and excitement to be had on and around the community. From golfing to canoeing, there is plenty to keep residents and visitors alike busy every month of the year.
